stingyっていう単語を今日覚えたんだ。「ケチ」。
もうひとつ、「吝嗇」という日本語も。「ケチ」。
書かれた文字を見て私はこの言葉の存在を知った。言葉があるからには、この単語を使う人がちゃんとどこかにいて、私が「吝嗇」を「stingy」と訳したら、ちゃんと意味が伝わるのだろう。
